At Cornhusker United Way, we don’t just fund programs — we bring the community together through events that actively connect us to the people we serve. Through outreach events, volunteer opportunities, and community gatherings, we aim to raise awareness, build relationships, and remove barriers to important resources. Whether it’s a health-fair, a financial-education workshop, or a service day in one of our nine counties, these events help us engage neighbors across Southeast Nebraska, listen to their needs, and offer real-time support in education, essential services, financial stability, and health. By creating space for everyone to participate, we’re working to strengthen our bonds and make sure that help, hope, and opportunity reach every corner of our community.
